The Third Rigden Rinpoche was born in 1968 at Derge Rinda, Eastern Tibet. He was recognized by His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche as the reincarnation of Rigden Thutop Palzang Rinpoche. He received his training at a monastery of the Sakya tradition. Later was enthroned at Dhi-phu Drukpa Monastery. He resides at Lhasa, and is presently the resident teacher at Namdruk Monastery.
