The programs on August 22 and 23 are open for Drukpa Lineage masters and appointed representatives only. From August 24 onwards, the programs will be open for public participation. Registration is mandatory for all programs to ensure that sufficient faciliities and food are available for all participants.

HIGHLIGHTS

  1. Come to the world's largest assembly of Drukpa Lineage masters
  2. Experience the unique Himalayan culture in Ladakh, one of the last remaining Buddhist havens
  3. Visit the ONLY GREEN SCHOOL IN HIMALAYAS, the Druk White Lotus School, where the Bollywood blockbuster "3 Idiots" (starring Aamir Khan) was shot
  4. Receive the blessings of the event graced by His Holiness The Gyalwang Drukpa, the United Nations-MDG Awardee and the "Green Hero", as well as his spiritual family, comprising the 3rd ADC chairperson Kyabje Drukpa Choegon Rinpoche, deputy chairperson Kyabje Thuksey Rinpoche, and many great masters
  5. Join in the merit accumulating Drubchen led by accomplished practitioners from the centuries-old Hemis and Chemdrey Monasteries
  6. Make a Grand Offering of ONE MILLION LAMPS for Universal Peace and Happiness.

- Chenrezig / Avalokiteshvara Drubchen performed by Monks of Hemis and Chemdrey monasteries in Ladakh.

Full day:

Come to the world's largest assembly of Drukpa Lineage mastersArrivial of Rinpoches and Representatives, followed by meeting and discussion among His Holiness The Gyalwang Drukpa, His Holiness Je Khenpo or his representatives, Their Eminences, Venerable Rinpoches and Tulkus of the Drukpa Lineage and/or their representatives who will be attending the Third ADC. Invitation to attend is based upon written recommendations by respective Rinpoches and Tulkus

NOTE:

  1. The Relic viewing will continue on 29th August for those devotees who did not get the chance on 27th and 28th August.
  2. The Monlam and the Ganachakra offering will be performed together by the monks and nuns. Simultaneous translation of the teachings and discussions will be available in English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Nepali.
  3. On the request of Ladakhi people, there will be a MANI DUNGDUB dedicated for His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa's longevity.
